Darlington High School Band Senior graduates from Florence-Darlington Technical College with her Associates Degree, while enrolled as a high school student.
As a student dually enrolled in both Darlington High School and Florence-Darlington Technical College, Areyana conquered and mastered her goal of graduating with her Associates Degree.
Areyana Henry is a student at Darlington High School. She had been accepted in the Darlington High School Honors College while in 8th grade. While in high school, Areyana was a member of the National Honors Society, Anchor Club, and Beta Club. All of these organizations dedicate their time in giving back to the Darlington Community. Areyana also served as a section leader in the Darlington Marching Falcon Band. Considering the fact that Areyana was highly involved in various organizations and extra curricular activities, she did not let that stop her from earning her associates degree from Florence-Darlington Technical College.
When speaking with Mr. Johnson, he sated "Areyana is a very hard working and driven student. I watched her work through stress and overcome adversity. There were times when I thought she was going to explode, but she held it together and for that, I am extremely proud of her and looking forward to her future."
Areyana plans to continue her educational journey at Francis Marion University where she plans to major in Political Science. Areyana plans to become an attorney in the near future.
