Darlington High School Band alumnae graduates from North Carolina Central University.
Robinesha Stucks is a native of Darlington, South Carolina. She attended Mayo Magnet School for Math, Science and Technology in 2012 and graduated from MHS in 2016. While attending Mayo, Robinesha served on the band for 2 years as a trombonist. Robinesha has been under the leadership of former Director Mr. Christopher Simpson and current Director Mr. Brendan L. Johnson. Upon graduating from Mayo, Robinesha became a student at North Carolina Central University where she majored in Criminal Justice. Director of Bands, Brendan Johnson says: "Robinesha was one of my very first students here at Darlington High School. I never met a young lady full of life and always smiling like Robinesha. I'm amazed at how fast time has flown considering the fact that i've known Robinesha and her family for most of my life. I know she'll do well in anything in life."
While at North Carolina Central University, Robinesha served as a student leader, peer mentor, and worked for residential life as a freshman hall resident assistant for 2 years. Robinesha was also a member of the WPI Mass choir where she served as the secretary and Miss WPI. After the completion of her degree, Robinesha plans to attend law school and become a lawyer.
