The Darlington High School Marching Falcon Band.  Also known as the "Pride of the Pee Dee" is one of the most recognizable bands in the state of South Carolina.  The band has over 185 members both in middle school and high school.  They've performed in many states such as Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.  Students participating in Marching Band must be at least a 7th grader with no less than 1 year of band experience.  All percussionist, drum majors and auxiliary members are all selected based on an audition process.  The band participates in many parades and festivals.  They've been named grand champions at various competitions.  The Marching Band is one of the community's most prized possessions.
